$0.65 for a $12.00 Paypal transaction?

you can try using google checkout as an alternative to Paypal...

I usually pass the fees on, but only because I don't want to take Paypal. I'm patient enough to wait for cash or a money order, but if the other person insists, then they'll eat the fees. Recently, though I've decided no more Paypal for balisongs since Paypal closed my acct for selling balisongs...

.....I hate all banks just about.

Same here. I absolutely DETEST banks (in the generic sense) If you make a mistake, the service charges get slammed onto your account in a fraction of a second; if they make a mistake, it's "...oops, sorry!" And why does it take 30 days to clear a money order? Last week I deposited a cheque for 100k to which I needed quick access to pay some production invoices and it was held for 5 days. I have put millions of dollars through this account and they can't figure out a way, in these days of electronic banking, to verify those funds in less than 5 days?

(and yes, one of those 2 was the one you bought. ;) But - that will change soon. :) )

A reminder, folks.

If you read Paypals terms of service, it is a violation to pass the Paypal fees on to your customer.

However, they do allow you to charge a 'handling fee', but it cannot equal the paypal fee amount.
AH HA!!!!! But we are allowed to discuss it here, right? Thanks for the heads up, but since it's technically not illegal, just subject to civil law, it's Bladeforums legal, right?
