Well, I knew it would come sooner or later and now I have had my first bad experience with someone here, and it is someone who already has a few good reviews here. It pains me to have to say this, but like my attempted purchase, I am left with no choice.
007, aka Christian LaVenia, had a Busse HHFSH up for sale, then apparently withdrew it before anyone grabbed it. He then offers it back up for sale in the same thread, but now with a Busse ST-56 for sale too. Sale terms for both are Paypal or USPS MO only. I grab the ST-56 for full asking price. A short time later, I get this
"You can paypal to this address, don't forget the 4% though. Send me your address and I can try to get it out tomorrow."
and respond with
"Actually, if it is ok with you, I will do an MO, but I need your address to do it. Also, I am heading out of town on a business emergency pretty quick here, but can get it off to you first thing Tues. Of course, please hang on to the knife until you get the MO."
A few hours later...from 007...
"Kinda need the money bro, I know this is gonna suck but I might have to let it go to #2. Tuition deadline is Tuesday, otherwise I wouldn't have sold the ST-56. I'll hold onto it as long as possible, but it would be nice if you could get the MO out tomorrow."
My first thought is one of disbelief and anger. He has now also posted in the thread that it is still available!!
He's selling it to #2???? WTF??? I e-mail him with this...

I know you need the $, but you said that a USPS MO was ok in your first post. That is what I am intending in doing. You set no deadline anywhere. Even if I was able to send one out tomorrow, I am on the West coast at this point. It can't get there by Tuesday anyway. Please think about this. I was first up on this knife and I still want it, but even after all this, I still don't have an address for you. Please don't just let this drop. It is neither right nor fair."

I see you have edited your original post to fuzzy up payment choices for the buyer of the ST-56. Originally, you had a statement in there about same payment as for HHFSH. Yet you still say, " Would consider trade on a AK47 Urban Grey, + $$ from me of course". It does not sound like you are THAT desperate for tuition $. I feel that I am first in line to offer you your asking price under the terms you set forth in the post and as such, it is rightfully mine. Please let me know your address so I can get an MO off to you."
I also respond back in the thread just so something does not get overlooked...
"Umm, I still want the ST-56, originally offered your full asking price, am first in line, and willing to pay by terms outlined in the original post. Can I get this? Please?"
And now I wake up on Sat morning, no response to my e-mail, but a post in the thread from 007 that he is sorry, but the ST-56 is gone.
You folks have all the e-mails and you have them in their entirety. I think it sort of speaks for itself if you've read this far. Really bites.
Christian, please chime in here and give your side. You had the choice to make it Paypal only and request immediate payment in your post, but you did not. And of course, the whole AK trade thing hides your imediate urgent need for $ even more. Also it is a holiday weekend and I can't do anything about funding a Paypal account within your short timeframe. And so because you are in Virginia and I am in CA, because you chose to make this for sale at the "midnight hour", I am screwed. I don't think this is how people should be treated. I understand your need for immediate cash, but I can think of no way to satisfy that. I generally trust people until they violate that trust, and you have violated my trust. Maybe others here will think that you are/were right to do what you did. That is fine, everyone can draw their own conclusions. I for one, however, will not trade with, buy from, or sell to you in the future. Again, it really sucks.
