This isn't even a current photo. This was 3 days after I got the knife. There is a more wear now all over the lock side now 7-8 days in. Doesn't change at all after cleaning.

That looks almost white in that picture's angle!

Anodizing permanently changes the titanium color. There'll be different color hues on different sections based on touching or rubbing.
 
It's wearing like that on the bottom of the lock bar (near the cut out), and the disengagement area.

I probably should contact ZT about this..

I think it looks like a nice Patina and gives it character. But if your not happy contact ZT like you mentioned although after handling it enough again it's just a matter of time and im sure it will start wearing .

Dangit. I was on the fence about purchasing this knife. I didn't realize it was THAT limited. I went back to this thread, finally decided I want to get one because I like the 452cf then went into a panic mode when I saw the kniveshipsfree place was out of it already. In my mind, I read it as it was limited to them as in dealer exclusive. Then the different other places I know of was also out of stock. Finally got to Kershawguy place and it didn't say it was out and I could still order it and the transaction went through so hopefully, I do have one coming my way.

This will be the third knife I have multiples of: ZT560, Cold Steel Tuff Lite, and now, the ZT452. Definitely, I'm small league but I love these knives for their functionality.

ETA: Woohoo! 2 hours and 11 minutes from ordering and I got an email with a tracking number on it so it must be true: I'm getting a ZT452CFM390BLU! Thank you, KershawGuy!

In my humble opinion, I wish the blade wasn't as long. For its purpose it just seems like over kill and I would rather edc a smaller blade. If it was 3.5 or 3.6 inch blade than yes. (The handle of its little brother 0450cf is just too small for me.)

Here's the thing for me: are there not plenty of 3.5" blades? I actually think the majority of production knives for sale averages around that length. I like 4" blades for the stuff I use them for which is, most often than not, using them as a steak knife. You have plenty of knives being made for you already; please don't try to squelch the ones being made for people like me.
 
I've got a question from the guys who have one. Is the lockbar side stonewashed?

I have a 0452CF in regular S35V that I ano'd myself. I left the stonewash underneath because its more durable that way.
The blue doesn't pop quite like a clean NON stonewashed finish but it seems to be more durable. For me a re-dip is not an issue
so I tried this way first.

I can't really tell from the pics posted if there is a stonewashed finish under the blue ano of the M390 version.

This is with 2 weeks of pocket time...

If I'm understanding your question correctly then yes it is on both sides.
Edit : misunderstood your question and can't answer it because mine is holding up fine so don't know whats underneath.
Also sounds like the finish on yours is bad so I would contact ZT about your issue.

I guess that's one good thing about these limited allocations. Every good dealer gets to participate in it. I'm glad I was able to do a transaction with KershawGuy as I've heard plenty of good things about him here. If it wasn't in limited availability and I haven't had a previous transaction with him yet, I wouldn't have thought of getting the knife from him.

Same here brother. The good people over at Knifeart are really gtg. Very friendly over the phone and got it out same day. It was the first time I've dealt with them.
I couldn't find one anywhere but there when I googled.
Ill give the Kershawguy some business too.

I did. Just doesn't do it for me. I am pretty excited about these limited editions though. Would have loved to have gotten in on the 0392WC.
