Thanks for the suggestion. Good thing is, I can get that one here as well. I never used that thumb disk. Also when I look at a video, it opens kind of automatic when you get it out of your pocket. How does that work? Is that really true?

It's the Emerson Wave opening mechanism. The hook catches the seam of your pocket as you withdraw the folder up and back thus opening it on the way out. You can also just withdraw straight up without engaging the hook. If you can, try it out at the store. The folder is beefy and has some heft to it.

I finally got this and WOW. I didn't think I'd carry it over my regular version, but I'm not sure I can leave it at home! What a perfect knife made even better.

Beautiful knives. Love my regular 0452 and am very sorry I missed out on these. This blade in m390 would be sweet.

The recent gold/m390 sprint run definitely took the sting out of missing this one. I picked up 2 and even though I ordered them a week apart got SN 611 and 612.
