I owned both very briefly, and would say 0452CF all the way, due to the weight. And it's a heck of a blade, if you like big blades.
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is available! Price is $250 ea (shipped within CONUS).

Would the comparatively carbide rich 204p (562) hold a working edge longer vs. the s35vn (452) taking a keener edge and possibly a touch more toughness?
If so, would it be That noticeable?
I'll buck the trend and suggest another option, the 0804CF. It's closer in size to the 0560 and I think you would be very happy with it.
Eh, that one just doesn't do much for me. I hate the cutout for the pocket clip and it just looks too much like a block. Might be different if I could find one to hold though.
Are there any rumors about new knives they may be introducing at SHOT show?
My 0452 had mushy lockup, my 0562cf you can't push the lockbar all the way over with your thumb , like I could the 0452.
yea m390/20cv/204p will keep an edge longer than s35vn. but s35vn is slightly easier to sharpen
0452 does have an m390 sprint you can find used.
Ok, so let me ask this: If my goal is to own another 560 sometime soon, should I just not bother with the 562 since they're similar in size/shape and just get the 452CF since it's a totally different design?
Well, the 562 is 1/4" smaller and the 452 is 1/4" larger.
The difference comes down to blade/handle shape and how then knife will be perceived by the public and how you feel about that.
I think that the 562 is a superb knife, but keep in mind that I have yet to handle a 452. That being said, the 562 might feel redundant while the 452 will offer you some breadth if your carry.
