I ended up checking to see if dave had any...turns out he did so I went with him. If I can I always try to send money his way, but I blame all of you here for me wanting one so bad. I originally had no plans of buying this one but that changed fast...:rolleyes: oh well, I'm sure it will be worth it.

I have to say that ZT took the knife over the top; the custom machined pocket clip and 3d machining really polished up an already beautiful knife.

I have to give Mr. Martin the hollow grind though......

Good time to be a ZT / Kai / Kershaw fanboy. ;^)

There are other batches slated for assembly and shipment so just be patient...I wouldn't worry unless Kai Corp or jimmer5 says anything to the contrary.
 
I got one for $395 on that auction site (not sure if I can say it)! It was a Buy It Now. Kinda crazy, I was surprised to see a BIN and especially at a decent price. It also said that the knife in the picture didn't represent the actual knife I would receive, but it wasn't a stock picture, so I'm guessing that the store (Sooner State Knives) is selling more. I didn't check, but maybe they had/have more listed. Very quick shipping.

I'm on the KC list but haven't heard about any shipping. Been on it since last year I'm thinking. Also on the KW list and received an email from Ashley that she had mine sitting on her desk just waiting for me to tell her what to do!!! I'll be paying for it on the 30th and have it on the 31st! This one is worth evvery penny of the cost of overnight shipping! Oh, if KC comes through, well............I'll have one to keep pristine, and one to carry!!

I preordered from a less that reliable source at around this same time. I was reassured via a phone conversation that they were expecting enough to fill my order and then some but It would be the tail end of the summer at the earliest. They said that when the first release hit many of those who had a preorder in with them found an example from other sources and bumped many people up in line. Dont take it as gospel. I never canceled my order but I still jumped on one when it became available. I suggest you be vigilant and dont rely on them but it wont hurt to keep your preorder just in case you cant fine one. It has better chances than not being on the list.

I got one from Dave too. Was really surprised he had them in stock. I got it for my little brother and it's out for delivery right now so can't wait to see what he thinks. I'm not much of a gun collector. For some reason much more hung up on knives, but I do have a nice little 75B and got some concave grips for it (TJ75) to accommodate my small hands. Might be interesting to make something like that out of CF, just for kicks. You don't see many concave grips around.

Yeah I know, I need to get a picture. Coming.
