I remember hearing about it getting ready for work in the morning. Knew I would be deploying and sure enough I did ending up in Kuwait in 2003 for OIF1-2. Being in tanks didn't need a blade much but did carry a CRKT as well as the issued Not-Ka-bar-Ka-bar. I also traded something for a Phrobis III M9 bayonet with some Army doggies at Doha.
 
I was gonna register but I don't have a Tax ID. This is a business thing, right? Or am I doing it wrong?

You dont need a tax ID to receive a gift:)

I have distinct memories ( as I know most do ) of 9/11.
I was here in Atlanta on the phone with my office in NYC.
I had the news on when the first plane hit and was relaying the details to people in my office.
They soon had televisions in the office tuned in.
There were many in my office touched with losses. A very tragic day.

This Taliwacker should go to someone directly touched by or gave service as a result of that tragic day.

No service here but as a civi I'm helping keep troop and supply transport helicopters in the air in AFG, CAR and Philippines.

I really love the Tali Whacker blade but I am not in on this one. There are so many folks here that serve, has served, or with family members or friends who serve that deserve this sweet thing.
