Ive been cutting and tweaking the handle/guard, and re profiled the tip a bit, this knife is an excellent cutter, with a good balance of speed/power.
"10X2" Bowie.
Hand forged 1084 carbon steel, 10" long x 1-7/8" wide, .230 thick at ricasso. Distill taper, sharp clip, convex edge. Handle is Curly Maple, and tang runs to within 1/4" of butt. Handle is 5" from butt to face of gaurd. Guard is 416SS.
Blade finish is hand rubbed "scotchbrite" working finish. Handle has traditional Danish Oil/wax finish.
Blade geometry with cutting performance in mind, just enough belly without being cumbersome. More pics/info available, just email or call.
