5. Kiwi CF
6. Police 3
7. Persian (full size)

I am searching for a harpy plain edge, Do they make such an animal? "Walk softly and carry a big knife"

There are a few SS ones made for the Japanese market, but they are difficult to find and command a high price. There was also a sprint run version in CF, but again, pricey and hard to find.

The closest thing readily available, and reasonably priced, is the PE Tasman Salt.

Wow, only 10?? Hmmm....

1. Phoenix - This, to me, is the strongest, smoothest knife ever made!
2. Dodo PE - The functionality of this design is not to be believed!
3. P'Kal - I know this is designed for SD but it's a great all around folder.
4. Lil'Temp - The best in it's day and still a great design
5. Caly III - your choice (pref) for G10/VG10 or CF/ZDP. They are both terrific.
6. Military - Largest knife I will generally carry. Like the Caly all blade/handle combinations are great, just your personal preference.
7. D'Allara Drop Point PE. For a larger knife is light and ultra smooth.
8. Manix - Mini or full based on your size pref.
9. Native IV - CF is nice but this will be a great knife in FRN too.
10. Lady Bug PE Orange - Never underestimate this little knife. It's always on my keys. I can't wait for the purple ones!

My preferences for any knife:

flat ground
ball bearing lock
wire clip
strong
smooth
PE

I like all the handle materials Spyderco uses (CF, G10, Ti, Micarta, FRN) except steel.

Sheesh, how would I know? I don't own 10 spydercos.....oh, wait a minute, yes I do. My top 10 are.

Military - Best all round knife I've ever used. For my personal bush requirements I choose it over a fixed blade.

Centofante 4 - very under rated knife. Super thin and cuts like a scalpel. Great gents EDC.

Terzoula C-15 (?) I'm not sure of the model designation but this one is the semi-sheepsfoot blade liner lock with aluminium scales and ATS-34 steel. I love this blade and it's probably my only collectors item.

Natives (all versions). The 3D in particular, has a great in-hand feel.

Atlantic Salt - H1 is amazing and may well be the only steel we use in a few years. This blade/handle shape is excellent and the A-Salt is my EDC.

Endura 4 - Best value functional user on the market. My brother uses one on his property and absolutely beats it to death - it's has shown almost no signs of wear. Definetly a knife for life for the ard users.

Manix - Just because. It's as if Sal and Eric got sick of seeing all those Strider types out there and said 'That's not a knife - this is a knife'. Too big to carry and use for me - but I like taking it out of the box from time to time and hearing it go 'CLACK' open.

D'Allara Drop point - still the best performing (in term of edge holding, ease of sharpening and hair-poppin sharpness) blade I own. It's a rugged tool knife that lives in my toolbox - another one that will no-doubt outlast me.

Aqua Salt - I've only owned this fixed blade for a few days and it's already proving a great all-rounder. Good shape for a kitchen duty, great fishing knife and a good bush fixed-blade.

Caly 3 - great little pocketable EDC

The Wegner and Starmate have to be on the list somewhere. Discontinued doesn't equal not one of the best.

I have to stop there. I like the Military, but it's too long for me, both aesthetically and legally. I really haven't found a Spyderco yet that I didn't like. My sister, who is not a knife knut, but is a surgeon, absolutely loves the MOP Kiwi I got for her last year at the Spyderco Outlet...

Sorry fellas, but the best Spyderco..is the first one made ;) from then on they have something for everyone.
I have at least 200 or more knives, from Finland to USA and I always return to the Spydie for my edc, or if you like, comfort food :p
Each and every one of your choices, are #1 if it suits you, disregarding the cost, and model, its an awesome knife.
From the WW Native to the Stretch, these are well thought out knives, and I applaud Spyderco for such innovative products. For me, these are not only a tool, but a piece of working art. I just wish that I had discovered Spyderco, four years ago, before I had purchased knives that rarely see day light.
My Favorite though, of the bunch is the Para Millie.

Peace,

Dave
