I've only owned an SS cricket, Endura 4 Wave, Salt 1, Rock Salt and Pacific Salt. They've all been great (Rock Salt is a monster!) but if I had to choose only one, it would be my tried and true EDC, the Pacific Salt. This knife kind of put an end to my knife collecting because it's just that good. :). Great medium/large size (Salt 1 was a bit too small and blunt-nosed). Excellent size to weight ratio (Endura 4 is much heavier at the same size- i'm sure the internal steel frame makes it stronger, but for largely slicing and food prep use, the Pacific Salt seems plenty strong). Great clip and ergonomics- very easy to grab and flip open in an instant, even easier than many assisted-openers I've tried (I have several from many brands, used to be all about the AO's).

Sorry I don't have ten Spydercos to list, but I do have many more than 10 knives, and the Pacific Salt makes it at the top of the list regardless. :D

We should pony up and pay someone to do a statistical analysis, although I suspect that there will not be any clear favorites. That's what's so cool about Spyderco for me is that so many are passionate about what they like or dislike. I don't think there's any knife company today that has generated such a following.

I am inclined to agree. Spyderco owners are a breed apart, as they can appreciate the engineering genius that exists in every Spyderco knife.
