Thanks Dan, that pic is one of your best :)

Nice picture!
Thinking there's a story there. What can you tell us?
Thank you Pinemoon Pinemoon :)
We enjoy walking the many trails in our region of Eastern Ontario as a form of family exercise. We often come across critters and wildlife.
My kids spotted the raccoon earlier in the walk and later on as we came to the same area he was still there foraging for food and stuff on the forest floor.
I like to take pics for the Guardians thread so I pulled my lambsfoot and took a couple of pics

The raccoon then climbed the tree a little bit and his curiosity got the best of him :)
I had time to set up the knife and take a few more pics before he continued on to the top of the tree.

A few days later we were walking the trails and carrying our tiny yorkie mix as he had gotten tired.
There was a joke that the raccoon was a hand puppet so we had fun keeping up with the joke with this picture LOL

Wow, Dan-- CelloDan CelloDan
Talk about it all coming together!
I mean everything seemed to work, the timing, the lighting, a decent knife to insert, lol... That's pretty cool, wonderful. My hiking buddies call that kinda thing "trail magic."

But a hand puppet does seem pretty plausible ;)
I mean, if this were any other part of the web other than The Porch, I'd definitely have my doubts, lol!
