A man at the grocery store walks up the checkout with one banana, one apple, and two eggs.
Cashier: Good morning sir, you must be single?
The man: Yes, I am single. How did you know?
Cashier: Because you're ugly. ;)

Two coworkers are eating while the break. One of them peels a pear, cuts it and remove carefully the seeds.
"You don't like the seeds?"
"I do like them but eating the seeds after the fruit, separately, makes you more intelligent."
"Really?"
"Try! It will cost you one dollar a seed. Eight seeds, eight dollars."
"All right."
The guy pays, eats the seeds, thinks about that and suddenly asks :
"Isn't it a robbery? For eight dollars i could have bought a lot of pears!"
" You see, it works."

The knife arrived safe and sound, and we are instantly bonding, thanks Jack! Of course the knife didn’t travel across the ocean alone, it had a postcard, photographic guide to Yorkshire, coin, button and a coaster for company :). You really brought a smile to my face, thank you again.

Glad it made it to you Tom :) The other packages got there last week, so it seems that the mail is OK in ONE direction at least :rolleyes: My incoming mail is still pretty terrible o_O Thanks to you and everyone who took part in the giveaway, some great jokes in this thread, at a time when I think we all needed a laugh :) :thumbsup:

I posted this in another thread last week, but figured it belonged here. A fantastic knife and some extra goodies. I really enjoyed the Yorkshire book, such a beautiful and historic area! Thanks again Jack! You're probably pushing 200,000 well-deserved likes by now:)
