One thing I don't understand is why you would spend over 100 on a folding pocket knife. Now I understand having the money to blow. But most people I know, that's a house payment. I think a good sharp buck could beat ANY spyderco, ZT, or whatever else. Everyone knows I keep a sharps 300 on me. That's my one and only folder. I have given away each and every other folder I ever owned and they couldn't compare. Skill beats price tag IMHO. Any one else feel like David( cheap but really reliable folders((buck, kershaw))) beats Goliath?(anything more expensive)
 
Its kind of like asking why would you buy a Rolex or a movado when my timex tells the same time. Idk b/c we can, and it makes us happy. Put me down for 3 houses.

"Everyone knows I keep a sharps 300 on me", no one here knows who you are & I'm pretty certain no one cares in real life. Sorry for being mean but this is a complete fail and I lowered my own self respect for replying. Where do you live that a mortgage is $100. You can also hate on me because most of my knives are 10-100x that price and I don't care if you think that is a waste. Rant done
 
In another thread a member suggested an ESEE and you turned down the suggestion cause you " won't shell out the money esee wants". So I'll assume you also won't shell out the money ZT or spyderco wants.....

Don't knock it till you try it I guess
 
I would probably ask myself why I was a member of a knife forum if I didn't look at the merits at all knives at any pricepoint..


oh yeah...I originally thought, by the title of this thread that someone watched that channel that sells 100 knives for like $100.00...

Naming your thread "100+ folders" is a let down, I thought I'd come in here and see a ton of knife pics.
 
Just got back from a terrible movie (Jupiter Ascending) and was hoping to see 100 plus pics of knives to put a smile on my face….

Maybe we should start posting our own full collection pictures so this thread isn't a total loss.

I think this is the first time I've seen so many knives displayed together that an actual fork lift was required to lift them!😄👍

Please tell me you acquired at least some of those from the Kershaw factory sale.
 
I don't exactly agree with the OP, but if a folder is ultimately suspect compared to a fixed blade knife because of the weaknesses of lock and pivot, the whole idea of having a super high performance folder is a little bizarre. I really like pocket knives - but they are a compromise from the get-go.


But the OP keeps posting a lot of I-know-better stuff that sounds very... youthful. He should consider his audience and the reasons that other points of view exist.
 
peppercorn thats an old pic I need a much bigger fork lift now lol. Yeah I go to the warehouse sale think there are a few from there in the pic.
