I was just looking on line at the Micro Houses.... sort of like finished utilty sheds. Pretty cool actually and I could actually be satisfied living in one of these. Kits start at $3K..... a couple hundred a month doesn't sound like a bad rent (unfurnished). Actually I am thinking of one as an office.... office with peace of mind and no interruptions... :D

ive seen a show on them things and i could definitely see myself living quite happily in one when my daughters are done with college and out on their own. they definitely cram alotta living space in not alotta square footage.

I guess that by now, you have learned that this discussion is not just about folding knives, but just about anything that folks buy...houses, cars, guns, appliances for the kitchen...
You are probably pretty young, and that's a good thing. With age often comes wisdom.
Note that this forum is not just for those folks who might go out and buy a shovel to dig a hole. I'll go to WalMart for that. This forum also serves folks who appreciate fine workmanship and design that goes into a "better" knife.

Fantoni HB01 Limited edition in CPM S125V

Read up on blade steel. It's really interesting and might change your mind about knife quality. To each their own. In the back of the Spyderco catalog there is a very good list of blade steels and what make them different. Check it out.

Well, I spent $2,000+ on an old USGI WWI 45. Why do that when I could buy a Springfield Inc. for $650? Because I wanted her! Spend your money how you want. My money is MINE to do what I want, less what the Gov steals from me.

Enjoy your knife!

Hehehe, to be fair, PN did avoid saying timber. :D

I am probably one of the bunch of weasels he's referring too. :p

I hope you're doing well in your neck of the world Brett. :)

Well, shiver-me-timbers! :D Thanks, Chuck! I'm doing well and hope the same for you and your family, sir!

And to the rest of you salty lot: thanks for all the great pix of delicious sharps! Some fine knives out there...:cool:

Back in the days when you could buy a house for a hundred dollars a month and a hundred dollar knife for thirty dollars, people were nice to others, and they respected one another. Now days the sand box is so full of turds and wet spots that it's just easier not to play, and perhaps better if some didn't. I am just seeing more and more disrespect on this forum, just food for thought guys, not trying to Hijack the post.

Thank You, Kershawguy.

To those that tried to politely answer this new members question?....Thank you also. This is how adults are supposed to behave.

To those that came here just to troll the OP over a legitimate question?......Shame on you. You have quite the gall to call other people trolls. Grow up.
