I really like that case you are storing your knives in. Is it a pelican case? And did you have to cut the slots in the foam yourself?
Thanks

It's a Pelican 1300. The slots are "pick and pluck". A perforated grid really, two layers. The removed squares can be cut to adjust depth. A Christmas gift from some family friends.

OP would probably poo a piece of masonry if he knew the cost of some of these guys storage systems.

Probably.

Had to move out of Vancouver because the thought of owning a house isn't a reality here.

"Average price for single-family detached houses sold has soared to a record high of more than $1.36-million." 2014 Globe and Mail.

So to redeem myself I propose we make this a folding knife pic/porn thread and bury my idiocies and ignorance.

You're just trying too hard.
You just joined the forums less than a week ago. Stop trying to create tons of topics that aren't interesting.
Just be patient and your number of posts will increase slowly, over time.

Now I get it. It's like why us mechanics go buy snap on when the dollar store wrench turns the same bolt. And whatever floats your boat is cool. I personally really like te looks of them. But I don't buy them because if I did, I would use them. If I used them, It would be my luck they would shatter or become lost

You really bloody up your knuckles when using a dollar store wrench and it snaps, the same can happen if you use a dollar store knife. Now a buck knife is nothing to poke fun of, i have a buck vantage pro and really like it but it was close to $100.

Cardboard doesn't last long in the snow.

Even $100/month cardboard. I believe the geese are shown because they are defecating on cardboard city, which makes the rent inherently cheaper.

One thing I don't understand is why you would spend over 100 on a folding pocket knife. Now I understand having the money to blow. But most people I know, that's a house payment.

I don't understand why you wouldn't pay over $100 if you like something.

And where the hell are these houses where mortgage payments cost around $100?
I pay WAY more than that for rent of a one-bedroom apartment in one of Canada's cheapest cities to live in.

This dude is obviously a child.
It's pretty clear he has no concept of how much it costs to live in a house, anywhere in America.

He also can't fathom spending $100 on a knife, so that tells you that he considers $100 a lot of money, so he probably doesn't have a job, or earns *very* little at his job.

So if you wanna spend your free time arguing with some doofus kid on the internet, feel free.
Me, I'm at work as I type this, so I'm getting paid :D

As am I. Ah, the beauty of multiple monitors.

Back in the days when you could buy a house for a hundred dollars a month and a hundred dollar knife for thirty dollars, people were nice to others, and they respected one another. Now days the sand box is so full of turds and wet spots that it's just easier not to play, and perhaps better if some didn't. I am just seeing more and more disrespect on this forum, just food for thought guys, not trying to Hijack the post. As for me , I buy expensive knives and they never touch anything but my hands, I never use them or sharpen them, a real sickness, lol.

Actually douchebag, I live in Oklahoma and my rent was 400. My house payment is 550. So talk some shit. And I'm 21 and half way to owning my own home. I'm in the national guard duckhead, that's how I'm a mechanic AND do collections. Use your ducking brain for more than a space saver you patio primate.

evidently in some parts of this country that pile would buy a house lol

I was just looking on line at the Micro Houses.... sort of like finished utilty sheds. Pretty cool actually and I could actually be satisfied living in one of these. Kits start at $3K..... a couple hundred a month doesn't sound like a bad rent (unfurnished). Actually I am thinking of one as an office.... office with peace of mind and no interruptions... :D

You might want to edit out the bad words..... I think you have an interest in knives. Some people will jerk you around. People here at BF have a knife interest and you'll see folks of all financial means from nearly homeless (some actually previously homeless) to very weathy. Just saying so you don't get banned.
