Hi fellas:
I wanted a real fast quench on this 1095 skinner blade for a real high Rc hardness because it's designed to cut and not take any impact, so I went with a brine quench. Problem is I didn't notice the three tight quench cracks until I had just about finished the knife. Two are coming out of the spine serrations (1/8" each) and one on the bottom of the ricasso in front of the handle about 1/16". (My Parks 50 arrives Thursday!) So I'm offering this fine skinner for 60% off my normal $250 price. Under my maker's lifetime warranty and free sharpening, if the blade separates under normal use, send it back and I'll refund your $100 - period, no questions asked. This is a fine user for the bargain minded buyer - the top edge is unsharpened but it can be sharpened at your request. $100 plus $15 shipping - Paypal preferred to my account tksteingass@frontier.com The first "I'll take it" gets it.
