Thanks for offering this generous GAW. That is a really nice knife and it has already been field tested!
I don't own any custom knives, but I was able to get one for my Dad as gift for Christmas '13.
Shaerks Knives, Burning Bush in O1 steel with Curly Walnut Handle and fitted sheath. My Dad said my older brother really liked the knife too, so I would give this one to him if I won it. He would have more opportunities to use it right now, and he is right handed!

My custom knife. There isn't another one. Had it made during an assignment to Hawaii. I'd like to ensure my son has a custom fixed blade too. Thanks for your generosity.

This is the knife I've customized the most so far (its not much, I know), and I don't own any customs yet. I've been starting to consider it though, as it seems cheaper in the long run to just make what you want, than to try out tons of production models .

I ground down the lower guard to make it smaller, made the hump on the bottom of the handle less prominent, and smoothed the transition from handle to spine. I then made my own bluejean/gold toe sock (yes) micarta, and shaped it to my liking.

Thanks for the chance, that blade looks quite nice .

Just checked out you site, you make some awesome knives, I'd be tickled pink to win one of your knives. I would also put it to good use around here. It looks perfect for my hand and I do love the blade shape.

Here's the first custom I ever bought, a Bud Nealy Aikuchi in blued O-1 with micarta scales, bought this from Bud himself at the first NYCKS back in the late 80s IIRC.
