Great giveaway. I would love to be included. I have no knives in this pattern and I love that stag.

What a generous giveaway. I'd say that would look darn nice sitting next to my 1977 Case!

Nice give away. Congrats on a 1000 posts. I've been carrying a small Schrade lately. I hardly know it's in my pocket.

Cool old knife trig-thank you for the photo!!

Mack...thats Von Cleff...that is a beautifull knife...I would like to know more about that knife!!
Gary...I have just bought an old timer.... a 1940t, in unused condition...its a awesome knife, and "eyeing" another -great knives...imagine those knives with a hunk of awesome Stag and say..... fancy bolsters?..THAT would be nice to see! Cool to see mley1's one too!

Steve...thank you for the shots of your canoe!!..yeah..they would look good together...Im thinking that maybe yours juuuust might show up the Schlieper though? lol
cj65...awesome-thank you for entering the comp..and thank you for showing us your case's...I have my first case arriving inside a couple of weeks...nothing too rare-a swinguard from the 70's...looking forward to seeing it!

Jeff...I think its pretty damned cool to have a knife from your dad-as jacknife writes about all the time, and others who are fortunate enough to have this-I am not so lucky..my only grandad was a very mean old bugger :(, and my dad wasnt the sort of bloke who liked knives...so I missed out...BUT i do have my brothers knife-he passed around 20 years ago-he was my older brother-and I still remember him...ohhh probably 36 years ago now showing me his knife- I didnt know how to open the knife-so he showed me how so I wouldnt cut myself...man..even writing about it brings massive emotions storming through! I was blown away when that blade came out :)!!
I do have that VERY precious knife..be it a cheepie, ( an Imperial wildcat folder )but not in sentimental value!!...I think even to Andrew ( my brother ) ..it would have been a pretty cool knife!
Cheers everyone...I hope this isnt going on too long ...i did say till the end of the month...that seems quite away doesnt it? lets keep it going for a while yet though...have a great time looking through this forum-I know I am.

Ok my friends....get your name in if you want..I will end the thread a week early, and do the draw...hope all is treating you well :-)..have a great weekend out there folks.
Duncan

That's a beauty of a knife. Someone will be very happy to get that!!

This is not an entry, but thanks for the give away. I've got two stag Bulldog canoes and so really do not need another.

Boy the folks in this forum keep these knives in circulation, saving them from stagnation in some old shoe box. This is a great place thanks to folks like yourself.

Ed

Sweet old German steel. mmmmmmmmm. Thank you for your generosity!

Here's two Schrade 33OTs - one that my father got me in the early 80's, another from the final US production run (warts, bumps, and all)

Cheers Ed, I think the saying goes.... " your behaviour is only learnt" so this place with guys like you and everyone else makes it all the better.

Stig!...cool old timers! Thank you for showing us.....

WOW, what a generous give away. Thank You! I'll have to see what I can dig up vintage wise for a photo.

BTW, I recently returned from Clan Campbell land in the Argyll area of Scotland. Your ancestors did pretty darn good for themselves!

Thanks for the chance on this one, Duncan.

Here's a couple that are in my carry rotation...

I like this one cause it's thin, rides well in the pocket. That Imperial carbon steel cuts like the dickens, too.
