To celebrate my 1000th post and 100th total positive feedback on the Exchange I have decided to do a giveaway. Your post number is your entry number, and I will be using a random number generator to pick the three winners. I apologize to my international knife loving brothers/sisters but I would like to keep this US only, shipping is too expensive otherwise. You also need to have at least 25 posts under your belt. The giveaway ends at midnight Oct. 14th and I will announce the winners on the 15th.

I will be giving away three knives to three separate winners:

1. BNIB Kershaw Cryo II
2. BNIB Kershaw Needs Work
3. Buck 110 with sheath - LNIB, never used but with some patina forming on bolsters from being in my truck.

All you need to do to enter is tell us your favorite vacation destination (somewhere you have actually been), a picture would be great, but not necessary to win.

Thanks to everyone here on Bladeforums for their contributions to the knife community!

Pine, Idaho. Great deer and elk hunting, and awesome rockhounding as well! Great giveaway, and congrats on 1000 posts. Kelly

Very cool give away! Thanks for the chance.

I live in SoCal now, and have spent time in many cool places in Germany, Italy, Iceland, England and in the US. The one place I keep wanting to go back to is Los Angeles. So many cool things to see and do there. If I can find a pic of mine from LA, I'll post it later.

I will be going to Italy in June, so that is going to be cool as well.

McAfee Knob, VA.Not really a vacation destination, but as a broke college kid going backpacking is about as close as I get to a vacation. :P Highly suggest this place to anyone.

Myrtle Beach, SC its my go to beach whenever I do go to the beach. Second would be Destin, FL. Congrats on 1000!

Grats on 1k and thanks for the GAW!

This one is easy for me. My favorite vacation spot is Kauai, Hawaii. Here is a pic of the Kalalau valley I took on my honeymoon.

Either San Antonio or Scottsdale, AZ. Both are beautiful places, but I also enjoy being with my family in Indiana. Thanks for the chance!

I'm in. Odessa Lake, Rocky Mtn National Park, Estes Park, Colorado-my favorite place on earth. thanks for the chance.

Mine is a tie between puerto viejo Costa Rica, a cool little beach town, and mount ascutney Vermont, the whole area really cause we always visited my cousins up there.

This is an awesome giveaway. I would be happy to own and use any of the three. I would also like to thank you personally for your help in introducing me to traditionals.

Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Ahhh... the memories... That or Jacksonville, Florida or Charleston, South Carolina. Me being a born and raised South Cali guy, I was taken aback by the southern hospitality and the beautiful... uh... sights I saw there :D

Smoky Mountains. Great roads, great trails, awesome scenery. I used to go every year to a Buell Rally at TWO in Suches, GA.

I'm in! Thanks for the opportunity. I would have to say California. I took my daughter to Disneyland this past March and she flipped out! Although my wife may have been even more excited :D It was her first time, too.

I'm in!

My favorite vacation place is in Ohio, every year we go to "Vintage Motorcycle Days" in mid Ohio. It is so much fun. I forget the name of the campground we stay at, they changed the name a year or two ago and I can never remember it lol

Galveston, TX. My family is from there, great seafood, great fishing. Pics are from March 2004.

Second fave is Tulum, Mexico.

I loved Germany when I went there. I'd love to go back now that I've developed a taste for beer :D I'll have to see if I can dig up a photo, my last visit was pre-digital, lol.
