I like to go hiking & fishing in northern Vermont in the Springtime.Beautiful country up there,away from all the noise & pollution.You can't throw a rock without it hitting some body water practically.Lots of ponds,lakes & streams.
My wife loves all the covered bridges & small quaint towns.

My favorite vacation place is Red River New Mexico. We go sking every year up there. Its not the biggest mountain, but I haven't been many other places sking. I snowboard and it is so much fun.

Definitely New York City. I spent so much time living and going to other places while in service that for me there truly is no place like home!
When I got to visit it was always the best vacation.

Wow thanks for the opportunity to win some great knives. So far my two favorite places are Lake Tahoe and Colorado Springs, Colorado. As you can tell I like the mountains. Congrats on the 1000 posts and 100 100% feedback.

I'm in. Best vacation spot?? Oh boy, that one takes some thought. There are so many excellent places to choose from, in this country and around the world. My litmus test is someplace I'd go back to in a New York minute. I'm torn between Aruba and Hawaii.
Aruba was special because it was our first big vacation together and the highs for the day had been below zero for three weeks straight here. It was -17º the morning we left.
Loved Hawaii. Was very ambivalent about going but once we got there I fell head over heels in love with it. We were on O'ahu so now I want to go back and hit some of the other islands.

My favorite place was going camping in the Upper Michigan (U.P.) camping in rustic cabins with the family when I was a kid. Sorry no pics but it was a very cool lodge we stayed at.
