100th post GAW! - Winner announced!

Not an entry, but welcome to our little corner of the forum. Pull up a chair and stay a while.

Count me in. Very generous give away! Not sure how great a whittler I am but would sure give it a go.

Not an entry. Thanks for your participation and generosity.
cheers.

Here's the missus and the pups on our New Years Day hike:

Great looking pups! My dad loved Airdales. He got one and had to give it up before I was born. My older sister was simply terrified of it (It would lick her face.....). It was also a very high energy dog that needed more time outside than my dad could give it at that time. He gave it to a rancher who said it was the best working dog he ever had!

LOL, high energy is an understatement. Definitely not feed and forget backyard dogs. They demand to be a fully fledged member of the family. Best friends you'll ever have though.

For a while the postman would not deliver to their house. So they started locking the dog in the laundry room at delivery time. He peed on the fresh laundry, and broke down the laundry room door. Once he learned that he could break doors, I guess it was all over. They could not contain him. He was "adopted" twice, and twice brought back because he was too high energy. The rancher was the third attempt.

A beautiful knife and fine gesture...If i whittled im sure that would be a great knife to use,but i dont so this is not an entry...Good on you sir and nice hounds too.................FES

I'm a regular... lurker around here :o My frequent posts have been in the Becker subforum lately. If you can find it in the kindness of your heart, I'd love for a chance to win this knife :)

100 posts and already giving away such a knife, that's not bad at all!

I won't let a chance to win something like this pass away, so I'm in.

Not an entry, I've been lucky enough to win 2 giveaways this year already, that is a sweet whittled.

Congrats on the milestone, good luck to everyone who enters and thanks for the generous giveaway.

Nice give - away!, congrats on the build up on Posts, thanks for your generosity, not an entry, but a Massive thank you! :D

Well, I'm going to call this one. The UPS man didn't come around this week but we did have several deer in the yard this morning and that set off Kingsley and Izzy but good. I counted their soothing vocalizations to the best of my ability and they landed on Black Mamba as our winner! Jeff, congrats and you have a PM. Thanks everyone for playing!

Awesome, Tim, and thanks again both for the whittler and your diving right in to become an integral member of Traditionals.

I can't guarantee the quality of anything I will whittle with this beauty, but I will be faithful to the OP and give it a try.
I just hope it doesn't break my camera! ;)

Congrats black mamba. Enjoy that conductor and can't wait to see what you whittle. Thanks Lone Airedale for an awesome GAW. And welcome to the world of triple digit posts. Thanks for letting me play!

Congratulations! I know you'll whittle something worth seeing (one way or the other :D )

Thanks Lone Airedale for the excellent GAW.

Tim, the whittler came today and I grabbed a quick photo. It's beautiful, and the walk & talk is superb.

I'll be selecting some wood this weekend, and hope to have a finished "project" by early next week. Thanks again!
