Well Tim, I must first apologize for taking so long to fulfill the spirit of the giveaway, but at last I have whittled my first whittle. Both of my thumbs feel as though they've been through a sandblasting, and they are red as beets, but in 2½ hours this morning I finished my dolphin. Used nothing but the Conductor for every cut and scrape on it. The #33 Conductor did a nice job. I used the clip main for all the shaping, the coping to cut the mouth in, and the pen to drill the eye. The stock is a 2x2 piece of pine. Thanks again for the beautiful knife, and try not to be too critical of my carving . . . it really is my first ever.
