105 (now 106) GEC Giveaway - A Counting Game - WINNER ANNOUNCED!

Barrett, congrats on passing the century mark for GEC knife ownership; impressive family photo!!:thumbsup::thumbsup:
Thanks for the generous and fun GAW to celebrate the milestone!:cool::)
May I enter for Joshua JTB_5 JTB_5 , please?

I like counting, and I'm fairly good at it, but I'm not very good at quickly taking photos and getting them in a condition to be posted, so I don't know how much I'll actually participate in the GAW festivities. But here's something I whipped up for 20 this morning. This photo of a copper-bolstered Rough Rider clip/spey pen knife with grooved buffalo horn covers includes 20 metal eyelets for shoe laces (not counting the 2 fabric loops near the top of each shoe):

ETA: Looks like we're already past 20 and starting on 21, which just goes to show how right I was in assessing my ability to get pics posted in a timely manner! :( As further proof, I'll also post another "20" I took this morning; this one features a Victorinox Solo (I think they're officially called Pioneer 1 now) with an icosahedral die having 20 triangular faces.

Thank you, Gary!

Double posted! (I guess I could do 21 consecutive double posts, but that would be torturous).

Beautiful photo, Â!

Here's a pic of a pentagonal prism with 7 faces (2 pentagons and 5 squares), a square dipyramid with 8 faces (all triangles), a cube with 6 faces (all squares), and a Cadet with 2 faces (mark and pile). That makes 23 faces in all!

Excellent geometric entry, GT! :D (Did you take that photo for 21 then improvise with the knife covers? ;))

Same polyhedra I posted earlier, but this time, let's count vertices (corner points)!:thumbsup::cool::)
Pentagonal prism has 10 vertex points, octahedron has 6 vertices, and the cube has 8 vertices, for a total of ... wait for it ...
24.

(I wonder if I'll be able to use this photo again later in this GAW thread???)
