1084 carbon steel, forced patina *repost*

Hey,

Check out these custom knives I finished a couple weeks before. The knives are made from 1084 carbon steel and have a beautiful forced patina which protects them from rust. The knives are hidden tang. The handle is made out of corian and leather and has an excellent grip. They are very light and awesome cutters, perfect for small to medium tasks.

I made a leather sheath for both from natural cow blank. Both knives come sharpened and with a sheath.

I have these two knives but with a lot of personal twists which Ashenforge was kind enough to implement (different steel, full flat grind, high polish, differently coloured handle, dangler sheath,...). Communication was great and I am delighted with the knives. The small brother is my prefered EDC N°1 and the big brother is my favourite meat slicer. They are light, razor sharp and (very) beautiful.
