Yes, the 1095 that Aldo originally had was called 1095 FG. I liked it a lot..I bought some of the last 1084 that admiral steel had years ago..They sold it off discounted. I bought a bunch of 6' bars for something like $9 each...It did not have the Va like Aldo's does but it was good steel. Just plain 1084..I do really like Aldo's 1084, I don't think it always gets the credit it deserves out there..
