1095 Camp Knife

Thats Gorgeous work there David, and the Arizona Desert Ironwood sets it all off. Great looking knife and nice work.

Terry

Thank you Terry :)

For some reason ( maybe some of the veterans know why ) this set of handle scales looked a little muddy no matter what I did to them. The final thing I did was to give them many coats of Paste Finishing Wax by Minwax. That finally put some color & life into them.

Really really nice. I love the Hamon, and I think the polished guard/handle really set the whole thing off just right.

Patrice, my wife is just as crazy about knives as I am ;) Talks knives, steel, and leatherwork and knows what she's talking about :) You might be surprised at the # of gals both interested in, and making knives & sheaths.

That knife is EFFIN' hot! I love the blade, looks like a night time cityscape.

Thanks bro

That hamon style is called gunome midare, having irregular "waves" of varying height. When the "waves" are more pointed, it is called fujiyama ( mount Fuji hamon)
Excellent work.

Thats a great looking knife.

In "my" opinion the blue text on your site against the green background messes my eyes up, and I have a hard time reading the words.
