I haven't had a problem but i see other folks agree with you. I'm not as experienced as most folks here. I'll sit back and absorb the info here. Thanks guy.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's a great product for lubricating parts that can't tolerate a thick film. Just not rust prevention.

My favorite rust prevention is a forced patina.

I'm either lazy or old fashioned as the Opinel #8 I use in the kitchen is just wiped dry after washing and returned to the knife block. Patina, yes, rust, no.
