11” Dagger in 52100, Koa, Damascus…Sold.

Really nice work and the details make it shine.. Thanks for sharing!

Well, I'm glad it's been received well. Thanks a million everyone! This is the first knife that I've gone so far on for a while... but I've got another one, similar in a way, ricocheting around my brain wanting to get out at this moment. It will be a bigger challenge than this one. Wish me luck.

Salem, your Quillion beauty arrived today! First, I must say, you have serious design and fabrication skills! This dagger is exquisite! That bearing-steel 52100 blade is gorgeous...beautifully finished, and the subtle "leaf" profile adds a real elegance. Yes, this blade is a testament to your expert knife-making skills. The Damascus quillions and 'crown' cap really make this dagger so unique. I have a solid Koa guitar and so the handle was immediately attractive to me.
I was careful when gingerly touching the edges and I needed to be...sharp!!! Your packing was excellent...the knife arrived in perfect condition.

Thanks very much Salem!

This Quillion now sits on a stand I made from a hunk of Maple which has been cleaned and clear stained. The blade is protected with soft material, placed into the slot which holds the knife.
