110 Dave Not Doing Well..

Tell Dave he is in our prayers. Please keep us posted. In his last post on Facebook he said he 3xpected recovery to be a long process. I hope this is just part of it.

I've been staying in touch..Still in pain but he's going to a new rehabilitation center where hopefully he'll get better pain management..Chronic and/or severe pain is always a balancing act for Doc's but I see no reason for needless suffering. The 'Opioid Crisis' has impacted the treatment of pain in patients who truly need meds..I apologize for the tone I had in my previous post folks ..

FIRST my heart is gladdedlned to read all thr prayers and well wishes for speady recovery!!!!
I have not told bucksway every thing... it is upseting to speek about it at times ... c3-c4 + c4-c5 + c5-c6 +c6-c7 + c7-t1 are all now one bone.. was a massave 6.5 hr surgery... pain relife is a real issue! And the side effects were ... strange... due to the brain stem swelling... things i shall leave as appearing to me like strange sifi / earry special effects .. walls craweling and mergeing were the tame ones...
Pain was Bad but with in what i could handle. Then the transfer to this nurseing home for (omg) therapy....
I went over 12 hrs with NO PAIN MEDS! An ambluance that i had to pay for came and took me yo the er.. they took my bp of 210/120 and mainlined me with 10 MG of morphine... the hosp was not much better 4 mg morphine 5 mg of oxcododine and made me pay a cab to get back to nurseing home...

Back here... yes still here per medicade part a ... the doc the mext day wanted to cute me of my codine addaction
( i am on pain management with va for 20 mg a day of oxcodine with all random drug test) he jacked with every thing from 10 mg every 6 hr to 5 mg every 3 hr then switched at mid nite fron 3 hr to 6 hr ! And pain got ahead of me..more bad time fri nite.. wife git here at 10 sat morning and i am a sobbig f..ing wfeck ..
She got them to fix me some how... hell hath no fury like a threat to a womans love!
The doc jacked with me again monday night after mid nite and another 6 hrs no pain relief...
My wife is seeing red!!! She is burning ears every place today... i might get to a class place tomorrow!!!
I have lost most the use of my uper left arm.. but the pain In my legs is almost gone... and my rt arm seems to be almost ok... the migraines seem to be gone also... it is not known what is going to stay better or get worse...
My brain surgeon was shocked that i functioned as well as i did for so long with the miss dignoess of sevear dibetic nurophty ...
What has not killed me has made me stronger!
I an so very tired now But i wanted to let my blade form budies forver know i am still drinking shed juce !
