110 Dave Not Doing Well..

I think we all hope Bro you will do better...
You never know what will happen. Tonight I'm in the VA in Gainesville overnight for chest pain when I came in to start Insulin therapy today..

Yep I left my 285 in the car when I got in for my appointment yesterday. The VA doesn't allow knives of any kind...There's got to be a good reason lol! I have a hat that says "Medicated Vet" then "medicated for your protection" but my wife KathyJo won't let me wear it here...

Thank you all..I'll pass it on to David when I get him on the phone tonight..I've been thru extreme pain (3 years in Bethesda Naval hospital in Maryland) but when your Doctor won't give you enough pain meds it just is plain wrong..The current 'War on Drugs' is having terrible consequences for people like David and all folks suffering so badly in the hospital! If I was not a Christian I would wish heartless Doctors like his would suffer the same...
Not only heartless doctors but heartless, over reacting politicians that sell us out over a vote. If I were still in the States I could not live very well because getting pain medication when you need it is difficult, now. Of course, here I started doing some pain management that has helped a lot. Today was the first day I have had to take any meds in a while.

Praying for Dave.

Glad you’re well enough to post Dave. I pray for speedy relief of your pain and for fullest possible recovery.

Report from Gainesville...Home by 5:00 today. Yea!
On the last test today a Echo something found the cause of my Chest pain......Gallstones!! High blood glucose levels ,dehydration, probable pulled muscle definitely Gallstones mimicked perfectly a cardiac event..Thanks for all your prayers! as D-Rig says 'It definitely makes a difference' So all of yall will have to wait awhile for the chance to get some of my Odd,Rare, 112's..David has a much more serious trials ahead..Mine was scary but over ..his problems are just beginning.

I also am home now... the pain is still bad, but not as bad as it was. my walking is better! But doc says most likely i will not get more than 60% of arm movement back and 20 % chance of not getting any . This is exactly what/why i had the surgery to start was to keep use of my arm! Good news is when i start therapy in 12 days i get to start driving again... one armpit less but if Clint csn do it so can I !
See every one at Atlanta!

I lost the use of my left arm back in the 70's and it was 5 years before I got any movement..You learn a lot of tricks lol..

sorry to hear that. hard path to handle. can ya use it nowadays, Sir?

Praying you heal up well beyond what the doctors are speculating. The Great Physician can certainly overrule them.

JB I lost the intrinsic muscles in my hand because I quit physical therapy after 3 or 4 years..I always tell folks to listen to your therapist..I have a little biceps and the muscle on the top of my forearm. Skin sensations is poor but my biggest problem is 'spatial awareness' I don't know quite where it is so I bang it easy..But I have it !!
