Here is the speedy reply i received from Cabelas regarding shipping knives to Canada

"Thank you for your e-mail. We are able to ship some knives to Canada but, there are some that due to their size or other features would be restricted by customs and could not be shipped internationally. On international orders we offer a suface and an air shipping method. On surface shipping the order is shipped through the postal service. The Air shipping method would be through UPS. If we can be of further assistance please contact us again."

Just another reason why I no longer live down there. I think someone down there changed it from "The land of the free" to "The land of the free lunch, tofu and small knives with round edges so we don't shock the sensitivities of the children."
