Glad to here that you found the missing AG 110.The older I get the more stuff I cant find.
I am stuck at home cutting up my deer with the 120 that santa gave me.
I still love that knife.Good to here the Turkey got away ,LOL, ::D .
Mybe he will fly up up London.:D :D I will try to cut him up for you with
my 120.LOL.In the spring,hunt.
The Idaho 110 I got last Christmas is going strong. It helped with 4 deer
I shot this year, and some for my fellow hunters.
I am going to see about one of those 121's that you keep crowing about.
Happy Hunting.

Have you resharpened and stopped at the 600 to see what happens yet?

Well maybe I need to buy another form of sharpener then :D

Thanks Joe and CJ for your responses.

I have as yet to put the S30V back on the hones. It is currently edc in a horizontal nylon that came in the Wally Tins.

Like I said somewhere above, it is incredibally sharp for normal use, but when I made the cut below the sternum, poked a couple fingers through and lifted up to make the glide to the pelvic, it wouldn't glide.

And I did try it agan on a doe Dad got a few days ago. Ended up using an Idaho 110 420 and it did glide non stop all the way.

So I am going to edc the AG (all these acronums...lol) for a while and then take it back to the hones. I didn't have the diamond hones with me at the hunting camp so those may make a difference.

Will let yas know...

And Yes Joe, I have been sharpeing 110's for a long time. These Crazies here did a "How Old Are You" thing some time back and I think I ranked 2nd or 3rd.....ugh...... and thats not on the youngest end....

And Trax,,,,,,she carries the loop to pick cactus....out of hands, feet, and legs.
and well....if she runs across any sparkelies too.... I find I use one quite frequently too... there is a joke in that somewhere but I won't go there....:D

I have a huge bunch of cardboard out on the trailer to cut up and take to the school recycle bin, so the AG could get a workout today. And my brother has drug me out of retirement to help clean up one of his businesses so will be using it frequently there... No,,,not going to go choping on anyone...lol...
Will let ya know!!!

Has been interesting reading on your 120. May have to get one just to try.
But the two 121's made a pretty big hit with everyone that had a hand in processing our deer. One of em seemed to have turned up in Dads knife box for a few days....lol... I wish now I would have left it there, but his hunting is over for the year.

I ended up just taking the one 9pt, a nice gobbler and a small loaner turkey hen. Dad finished with a couple of bucks and a couple of doe. Same for son in law.

Was a good season and a lot of family fun. Watching the grand kids run around the place on the 4 wheelers is a trip. Ever played hide and seek on 4 wheelers? And yes,,,they are extremely safe. Its their Dads I have to worry about...lol...

Hey Larry...

The 120 is a great knife. I don't know much about that 121 of your's
but looking at them on the Bay,there may not be very much difference
in the two knives as far as using them on deer the we do.But it
does give us something to live for and think about until next november.
You must have scared some turkeys up our way becouse the farther-in-law
and another hunter got one last week.Keep up updated on you AG-s30v.
Jeff
