111 classics

I always wanted to make a belt buckle out of a 111. Maybe brass or wood top and bottom with the 111 diagonally across. Someday I’ll get around to it.

Hell Yea, ya is totally absolute correct admondo on dat point!!! But I heard from a bird dat bucks legal dept has politely asked other guarded tinkerers to mark their work.
I guess I shoulda been a bit more wordy and used smart words to gets dat point across
I in no ways ment dat leroy was told to mark his work( he does it cause he is dat dayum good at what he does!! And dat datum prowed of it!! ) but that others have been asked due to lots of confuseion about a custom buck a buck custom when de damm correct statement would be “”” aftermarket customized Buck Brand Knives””” Edit : preavious post edited and bigger smarter words used to make me self mo clearer
An up date on the brass 111s that hsve been seen... i showed mine at the 30th
Many of the buck employees along with cj and joe handled the brass ones along with the aluminum droppoint one and said the design on the brass was the same as the design on the smooth banner drop point one was the and that all seemed authentic.
Not long ago i recived a inquiry from Buck as to if i knew who manufactured the frames for buck. ( I didn't know )
Because Buck is thinking of trying the same 111 design again in brass !
IF any one out there discovers who made the classic 111 frames let buck know!
Also another collector there said that he heard of a thin Sterling Silver one that was made ( other then the sets already known) but did not know if it was a classic 111 design .. again ... many times rumors of something may be based on fact as much as dreams
