112 Custom Rumor???

I've heard from a very reliable source that the Custom Shop will start taking orders for custom 112's. But, they will only take orders in September and October. Rumor has it all available 110 custom options will be available on 112.

I believe there is a S30V 112 in your immediate future.

The Bucks are doing this because they picked up on all the chatter in this forum. This will be a call in/word of mouth opportunity...ie they will not note the availability on the web site.

I'm delighted:D:D:D I hope everyone else is as well.
 
You wouldn’t tease me now would you? If that’s true I’m going to start selling some knives right now so I can order at least three CS 112.

YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS !!!! I asked a Buck person and was told when parts were listed in the computer,He would belive it. But I have my Visa ready I put all my 112's in a old display case of Daves on top my dresser,I wander in 7=8 times a day and rearange them...26 no 27 [got a new addition today] Now I'll have to take a fresh look at the 110 options to see what might be....SV-30 for sure, NS bolsters and frame, mabe Koa because the 110's posted here are really,really nice.Can you mirror polish SV-30 ??? Some engraving, mabe my BCCI number...DROP POINT!!!!! But I kinda dought that will happen...The first will be a display only,the next will be a DUC.. Flat I hope your right.........

Would be great if they could make it happen!

I prefer the 110 but could make an exception in this case :D

Been wanting to order another 110 but just can't find a combo that does it for me now.

STM- lets see that "for sale" thread, even it the CS thing doesn't happen maybe I can find some deals in the frantic selling to free up funds:D
 
Hopefully my 110 order will be here mid-week coming up and I think I'm going to match exactly those two and a LE jigged buffalo (but with a S30V blade instead of mirror finished 420hc). And the new favorite EDUer. Here will be my order as soon as the bell is sounded....(geez how long will it take to get through to Pete once all these orders start piling in?):

112, BG-42, Ram Horn, Br, FG, Rivets
112, BG-42, Koa, NS, Rivets
112, S30V, Jigged Buffalo, NS
112, S30V, Walnut, NS, Rivets

I am assuming BG-42 will be available as they will be grinding the non-420HC blades. I hope so anyway because I'd like to match exactly the Ram and Koa.

Oh, and for all you cats out there that think I just yanking your tails...just wait and see. I have a high degree of confidence on this one.:D:D:D
 
Well, if there's no BG-42, many or most of us can't match a 112 to our Custom 110s because a huge number went for BG-42 on the 110s we ordered.

Forget it.
 
well buck does not make steel so they DO have to re-order so i would expect that they could order what ever they want... ... who knows..

i hope all you 112 lovers can get what you want..
i hope you all email how you want your blades marked or
you could end up with exality what you had before!!!!!!!!!!!
humm i heard a rummer that sales could / would be limited only to BCCI members!!!
but i dont work there so what do i know... nothing!
 
I would love a custom 112! In fact, in my rare lurkings in this forum, I posted about such. Therefore, if I have to become a BCCI member to get a custom shop 112, I'll do so. So, tell me, please, what is BCCI? :confused: :p

I think Dave was kidding with statement. In any case the if you like Bucks you should join if only to be able to get the annual club knife. Also, there may be some 2007 knives still available (111 Elk inlay) and 2008 is a 55 with Elk inlay. Both are nice pieces.

There is a sticky with all the BCCI info you'll need to join.
