My custom bench strop from JRE Industries is done. This is the largest strop they have ever done and they won't be making any more, it took an hour just to load up the strop
. Well, I did commission two of them, and the other is going to a friend north of the border.
4" x 24"
2 sides loaded with black compound
1 side loaded with green compound
1 side (2 pieces of leather) loaded with green and pink

Mr night and everyone, that has a 1 x 42 sander. Tracey at USA knifemakers supply, has surgi sharp leather belts, that's what I sharpen with, I recommend everyone get one, it makes stropping. Fast..

it is incredible!!! the pics don't do it any justice. this thing is art in motion!!

That is one badass blade. If you got yours that means mine is probably on its way as well!!
On the previous page you mentioned that you would be willing to let Chuck hang onto your EDC for a bit longer so he could do another sheath. If that offer still stands I will give him a call and get my order in. I want to see if he can do a retro square bottomed sheath. Think that would look great with the BEDC.

the fit and finish are unbelievable... way better than anything else I own.
I took it up to work to show off to a couple of knife nuts up there, and they were predictably drooling all over it! of course I steered them this way. we'll see if they show up...
@ angryfish, the offer still stands of course,,,, and if any of you other bedc recipients are going to Chuddy for your sheath, I'll do the same for you. it'll be hell to let go of this knife for a while, but its the least I can do.
