  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

$12 knife vs. $12 knife ? Which one ??

I hate to go against the crowd but i'd have to say gerber, oh wait, not a choice, oh then mora. i'm noticing a trend here.

Ummmmmmm why not buy both and decide for yourself smoky mountain knife works has both of the and shipping is free so you could buy both for 25.00 and carry whichever you decide you like best. http://www.eknifeworks.com

The clipper is the one I'm looking at.

Watching the guy chopping cement kinda sold me. Figure I won't be doing much of that.

What:eek: a guy chopping cement with a Mora and NOT a Busse:confused: That's sacrilege:rolleyes: let's see the pictures Angus:D

And while we're at it, why are so many folks against the FinnBear brand? I understand the Mora heritage, but FB's are made in Scandanavia, so you would think if they sucked they would go out of business because locals did not buy them, ya' think:confused:

The pictures and vids are on knifetests.com. The Finn Bear talked about in this thread is made by Cold Steel in China.

How about a 12$ Kukri? http://m4040.com/Knifemaking/REVIEWS/FieldBladeReview-ColdSteelKuk.htm
After reading that review I plan on picking one up. ...

About 3 or 4 years ago Cold Steel ran those on sale dirt cheap in their Christmas sale flyer. I ordered several of them then and gave most away to my friends. CS had them made in South Africa, but the company that made (makes?) them has a long history of making good, sturdy tools according to someone who lives there in an earlier thread. Mine needed about half an hour on the edge with a file before using them, but they are another decent tool at a bargain price. Great to keep in your vehicle "just in case."

Sorry, I didn't mean to hijack this Mora thread. :D
