Military…in S90V/carbon fiberGreat Para 2 collection. One of my favorite knives is the XL model is the Manix 2. Is there a Para 2 equivalent to this beast with CPM S90V blade?View attachment 1943377View attachment 1943378View attachment 1943379View attachment 1943380View attachment 1943381View attachment 1943382View attachment 1943383

I feel like the one in the lower left is not getting the love it deserves. Please send my way for some extra attentionWhere has the time gone???
It's been 12 years since the PM2 was introduced, and these "Lucky 13" are all that remain in my revolving collection.
I did have 14, but I gifted one to my daughter for her 20th birthday, last month.
Curious to see what the ParaMilitary model evolves into next!

Starting at the Left, from Top to Bottom:
1st Column: M4, M4 DLC, 20CV, M4 Tanto
2nd Column: K390, Maxamet, S45VN DLC, S110V, CTS-XHP DLC
3rd Column: Cruwear, Cruwear DLC, S90V DLC, Cruwear
It's actually called the Gayle Bradley 2.Up next from Spyderco, more cutting edge, a robust tip, and slimmer carry in pocket. Add to all that an easier to take apart design and thinner blade stock with improved cutting performance.
She’ll be called “ Salbenza”.
Someday,I would love a Paramilitary 2 in Magnacut. Also an original full-size Manix in Magnacut as well!
I'll take a LW version please.Someday,jeepin , I'm sure we'll see Magnacut PM2's....
Very nice group jeronimo! Lucky 13, jamminWhere has the time gone???

Probably impossible question, but do you have a favorite?
I'll take a LW version please.
Is that a blade4sell clip?Thank youGB940Rookie .
I would say the modified Crucarta PM2, at the bottom right, is my current favorite.
Since that picture was taken, I replaced the scales with a set from RC Bladeworks, and am waiting for it to come back from getting a little Cerakote work done to it.

I'm almost reluctant to admit that the Para 2 is my most used, most carried pocketknife. I've owned at least one at any given time since they were first released. I usually sold them off for the reasons below, and always quickly replaced them because they are just so good. Based on the specs alone I would say I prefer more cutting edge relative to the size of the handle, a more robust tip, beefier lock up, smaller footprint in the pocket, more precision manufacture. But the whole is so much more than the parts with this model. I have an early Sebenza which checks all of the above boxes, but it's the Para 2 which gets the actual use. My current iteration is a REX 45 exclusive that I rescaled with aftermarket micarta grips.
