12 Years with the ParaMilitary 2...

In my collection, the most variants of any model I have are of the PM2 line, I have a crucarta, a brown dlc 20cv, and a smooth black G10 DLC cruwear that has resided in my pocket since I received it. The PM2 has been an excellent EDC for me!

Where has the time gone???
It's been 12 years since the PM2 was introduced, and these "Lucky 13🐈‍⬛" are all that remain in my revolving collection.
I did have 14, but I gifted one to my daughter for her 20th birthday, last month. 🎂

Curious to see what the ParaMilitary model evolves into next! ;)

Starting at the Left, from Top to Bottom:
1st Column
: M4, M4 DLC, 20CV, M4 Tanto
2nd Column: K390, Maxamet, S45VN DLC, S110V, CTS-XHP DLC
3rd Column: Cruwear, Cruwear DLC, S90V DLC, Cruwear
Left column second from the bottom right above the tanto, what scales are those and what is the material? Love that forest like green.

Those scales are indeed forest green G-10, with a milled 3D Line pattern, made by Aramis Akhmedov.
Much appreciated. I wasn't sure. I tried to buy some of his shaman scales before but I'm not to sure he could even ship to the states. They did a block on his eBay page and whenever I go to his official site it tends to not work properly, doesn't load and freezes for me.

No problem AMR11 AMR11 . I have a couple of sets of scales from him.
I had the best luck with just contacting him directly through email.
From what little I understand, or have heard, about his situation, I believe he's up and running again.

I'll have to give it a try. Contacting him directly 🙏 his scales are so nice. Hopefully he can ship here, not sure if our own government will stop it cuz of the dumb situation overseas. 🤞
Much appreciated info!

I’ll play. Huge Spyderco fan. Favorite Spyder is PM2 by a longshot. Not as extensive as jeronimo’s baker’s-dozen but, these get the job done for me. There are a few other PM2’s hanging around here, permanently on-station in a glove box, on a motorcycle, and in a backpack.

Pictured right to left: CPM S110V, CPM 20CV, CPM-M4, CPM S30V, CPM S45VN (Please excuse the Para3, Shaman and Military imposters that shamelessly photo-bombed jeronimo’s PM2 thread).

Scales are: RG Custom Metal Works Ti Radial Pattern, Stock Tan G10, SMKW Exclusive Fat Carbon, Stock Camo G10, Stock Black G10 (soon to be wearing AWT Hard Anodized III and black hardware). Various clips. There is another set of RG Ti Radial scales in my drawer waiting to meet the right partner.

S30 Camo is most used. M4 Fat Carbon is best looking. S110 with RG Ti feels best in the hand. Recently gifted an amazing skinny-mod Cru-Carta (from drubieg here on BF) to a friend for his birthday — I really miss that one.

For the record, no one even cares to talk about those three losers on the left…

Curious to see what Sal & Eric have coming down the road for us PM2 fanatics?

Nice ones, MrMoose MrMoose ! I love a little variety, and I'm a big fan of the Para 3, Shaman, and the Military.
Have only ever owned one Military, an early CPM-440V model, with "Military" engraved on the blade. Looking forward to the Military 2 model.
I have a set of the RG Custom diamond pattern Ti scales for the PM2, that I will be using on a future build. Very well made scales!
Here's a couple of pics of my current favorite, a skinny-modded CruCarta PM2. 🍻

Looking forward to Military2 for comp lock, consistent operation and tip up. I need another Cru-Carta in my life. Will be difficult to resist MagnaCut when it’s available. I too got rid of my Tanto. I’m hoping to pick up a PM2 re-blade from Josh at REK Knives. Currently impressed with AWT aluminum Agent scales that permit one liner to be deleted. Fun hobby - Happy Independence Day

Has anyone asked Sal (or Eric) what his pet Paramilitary 2 knife is? If not, I will. Hey, Sal, what’s in your pocket? What steel do you rely on? Extra credit for a picture…

Sal mentioned what knives he regularly uses in a recent interview. I cannot recall which ones exactly, but I don't think any of them were a Paramilitary 2. The one surprising thing I do recall was one of the knives he carries being a Byrd design.

Eric supposedly carries upcoming models/steels for testing. He recently mentioned carrying a Rex 121 Sage 5.
