Hi guys.

I am going to keep this kinda sorta short, and somewhat kind of to the point. :D

We have been going through some rough times. My father lost his job two years ago because the place he worked at closed. Since then, he has been either living away at camp jobs, or out of work. And that is all I am going to say.

Because of that, me and my little brother have had no allowance at all. I am not complaining about it, and never will. The only reason I bring that up, is because the way me and my brother are currently making money, is doing yard work. And in the winter, we shovel snow, not powdery snow either I mean wet heavy sloppy slushy snow.

Any way, Moose, if you were to send the warthog to me, I would give it to my little brother. I already own a BK-9, BK-2, and ESEE Izula 2, a Fallkniven F1, a Fallkniven A1 etc etc.
But my little brother does not have anything even close to a warthog or BK-2 sized knife.
He has been trying his best to save up for a knife about that size, for batoning and somewhat abusive tasks, and has been asking me for recommendations. And one of the knives I told him about, was the warthog.

I have offered to give him one of my knives, but he refused saying he wanted to put his own wear and tear on his own blade, and make it his...which I can understand.

I'm not trying to play up the sob story or anything, this is really what has been happening in our lives.
And being able to just give my little brother a knife he wants, and has been working so hard for, would be absolutely awesome.

Ok moose, i withdraw and if you draw my name send it to woodsplitter instead......

i've already been the recipient of alot of becker generosity and rather than be greedy i would prefer to see someone else get a little something as well....
 
Ok, Moose. Send me a knife if you have any extras left after the stuff goes to Iraq. I'll use it to fight evil wherever I may find it!

Ok, reality. I'll do what I do with my other knives. Take it out and beat the beejesus out of it because I know that a Kabar product will stand tall through it all. Then, when my 3 boys ask where I got the cool knife from, I'll tell them from a guy in TN who loves to be Santa Claus to grown up men. Then I'll tell them about how a bunch of these cool knives were sent to the people serving in the military . After we go hiking and they get to use it, they will know what I mean when I talk about good people and good knives.
 
HELP i shouldn't be here but you guys seam smart i cant figure out how to start a new thread to ask questions about how to work blade forums. can you at least help me figure out how to start a forum help thread? thank you sincerely,

Mitch, go to the correct forum for your question and look for a blue button in the upper left of your screen that says "+ Post New Thread." I assume you want to post in "Tech Support & Help" based upon your post. This will allow you to create a topic and get some support.

I see Moose has had you sit on his lap and tell him what you want too. Here I thought I was the only one.

I would say only maybe half of us here in the Becker forum are "Grown up men"
the rest or us are men who refuse to grow up ..lol
