1300 miles in 26hrs = powerhammer

How much does a puppy like that weigh? How'd you guys get it on and off the trailer? Do you have to do anything special in the way of footing for it?

I believe it weighs around 1000 to 1200 lbs. We got the guy I bought it from to pick it up with a tactor, He had this long bar attached to the back of it that would let up and down with the pto bars. he picked it up and we backed the trailor under it, did the same thing when we took it off. Rogers tractor tilted the back wheels off the ground alittle bit but we got it put into the barn. Were gonna pour a 6 inch deep pad 4x8ft and reinforce it with rebar welded together, thanks again for all the nice comments, I cant wait to learn how to use it!

Its birthday is May 13, 1943, its also a war hammer made for use in WW2 from what the nice people at littlegiant tell me.The pervious owner told me he hadnt plugged it up for 15 years, and the owner before him for 10 years or so. Me and Roger got it home and after oiling it up we plugged it up and she came to life, amazing something set up for that long in a barn and still run!

That's because things built back then were actually built to last lifetimes. Not a few years. Congrats on a nice score!

Way to go buddy!

I e-mailed you some info on the recommended foundation I got from Sids website.

Have fun :D

I just moved my 50 lb. this past weekend, we used a rollback wrecker and a pallet jack to move it into place, OH, I forgot to mention the muscle and sweat in this south ga. weather. Having some good friends and equipment helps alot. I also have a Champion 25 for sale if anyone interested.

That's Awesome Charlie!! Glad the trip was a success... and I don't envy either of you driving thru STL hauling a trailer.. :D
