154CM EDC's and TALON's have shipped to 1sks.com

Glad to hear they're on the way. Mine must be coming to the house later today!

Bob, you could order one from Darrel, and pick your steel (I went D2M). Plus he's making a larger version, now, too.

Hoodoo,
Glad your impression of that 154CM Talon is so good, I just ordered one about five minutes ago!

I'd love to, but his customs are still out of my price range. <sigh> I am recovering from an unexpectedly long gap between jobs.

Also, if I ever do manage to save enough pennies I'll have to get a Mad Max first!

Will, what is the angle of the edge on the Talon 154CM? I want to know if I need to reprofile it to sharpen it on my sharpmaker.

I get some pleasure from finding a relentlessly peaceful use for a combative looking knife.

I agree with bquilan. A 154CM Arclite would kick some major @$$. The price would be significantly lower than the DDR customs (due to the mass production capability), but still offering excellent quality and workmanship. And I feel it would be an excellent competitor even in the higher end neck knife/small fixed blade market.

The sheath is cool, too.

The mail hath cometh and I now have my 154cm EDC, and a landing strip down my right arm. It was razor sharp out of the box. I like that in a knife.
