Here's a little info on that Zylco knife, they actually manufactured kitchen cutlery, I wonder if they sold this one outright as a branded hunting knife? The etch is the same as what's on the kitchen cutlery. The steps in the operation sheet are the same for the "regular" 15OT save for the different tang stamps:

This actually shows why fixed blade knives are the bread and butter (labor wise) of the knife industry. There are 13 steps in the making of a 15OT, not counting the blanking and heat treating. There are 33 steps in the making of a 34OT,and 37 steps in the making of an 897UH!! And that's not to mention all the fitting (or cutlering), that's required.
