$175 in knife money. How would you spend it?

What are you looking for? Folder? Fixed? Big? Small?

Without knowing any more I'll pick something nice and guess. How about a Kizer Laconico Gemini? It's a great little knife, IMO.
 
I would buy something that would be the perfect EDC for me. A fixed blade knife, with a well made and designed clip point. A good sheath, maybe kydex and paracord.
 
Spend half looking for a BM Nagara 10700 without the stupid HD logo.

If I didn't already have one, I'd be tempted to dig through the couch cushions to come up with another $3.50 and grab a Benchmade Crooked River

If I only had $175 to spend? Id probably get a CRKT hisshou... or break open the piggy bank for another $50 for another benchmade 51 :D

I also really like kizer's nomad though.
 
If you had to use the 175.. I would go for a ZT 0562 (I've got sources) or I would save up another 15 dollars and get an M390 PM2
 
Right now if I had $175... Spyderco pacific salt. Rat 1 folder with d2 steel. Or maybe a dpx hest folder. Or maybe another Spyderco military. a manix2 xl or pm2. $175 would almost get me an emerson horseman.
 
My first thoughts were M390 PM2 or a Swamprat Ratmandu. But since I have those already, I would probably look for a Busse MSe BG, or the Lefty PM2 coming out soon or recently
