18" Keffeler Sword (K18), AKA The KOD Piece

Wow..... Damn, that's impressive!!!!

I really wish there was a scratch and dent version of These.
Maybe one where they forgot to machine one of the edges? Oops!

I need it single edged..... That way, it's half as likely that Id kill myself stupidity, or drunkenly with it..... Sober or not, I Know I'd hurt myself as it stands.

One would have to be an idiot to cut oneself with K18.

Yep, that’s me. Before I had a sheath I was getting it off a shelf, something was falling…I put a finger somewhere it shouldn’t have been trying to keep whatever it was back, and that back edge had me wishing for a 3-second do over.

It’s beyond comprehension what one of these would do to a zombie with some muscle behind it.

I'm pretty sure they would make that cut across the shoulder through the spine and out the opposite side. I don't know for a fact, I haven't tried it, although I have disassembled a deer with one. Green bone really doesn't offer that much resistance and the 5° primary is very close to a competition chopper. Dan has one hit 2x4s with it before. I'm not sure what that equates to, but I would bet money the K18 could cut someone cleanly in half pretty easily. Especially that back edge.

If done below the floating ribs and above the iliac crest, I reckon a 2 torso pass through is achievable. Much less dense than a 2x4.
I think the cutting limit on the K18 is probably only limited by the length of the blade and the arc of the cut! If you can squish two torsos in that range, I bet it'd KEAL for sure...
