1SKS needs more pressure!

I ordered a HaloIII and CQD AUTO back to Oct. 11.00. the Halo III arrived in two weeks later ( two weeks seens too long compare to other) but it is OK! don't too picky. I asked 1SKS how soon they could get my CQD, the answer was" within 30 days" then " MOD going to ship the knife in few days", the final
answer I got is " problem is on MOD, the shipping date is unknown ". Now where is my knife? 1SKS should told me they do not have it on their stock, so I can get it some where else. Right now is Dec.12.00. where can I get it before X-max!
 
Did you try getting in touch with them directly before you posted this or even called them to see what was up? This forum and them are one and the same so its not hard to get a hold of them to resolve this issue.

I must agree with Strider.

I would have only posted here if I could not get a resolve through either phone calls or emails.

The problem with CQD autos is their availability... It's not that we don't want to sell them, it's that they aren't readily available. We have Silver, Plain Edge models en route to us as we speak.

It would seem that the Black Plain and Black Combo Edge models are extremely popular this year - demand has way outstripped supply.

I apologize for the delay in filling your order, but please keep in mind that we'd like nothing better than to get your knife out the door. However, if they are not being produced fast enough, it's hard for anyone to get them. Please be patient and we will ship your knife as soon as humanly possible.

Erlkonig, it seems that you have the worst luck of anyone on the forums when it comes to purchasing knives online.

My advice to you is this. Search everywhere within a day's ride of where you live and find a brick and mortar knife dealership that you can personally walk into, browse the selection, fondle the merchandise, and purchase if you feel the need. Your problems of waiting on knives, getting sub-standard goods, and going through the trouble of posting in this forum will be over.

Don't take this as a personal attack. I am just noticing that you seem to have bad experiences with net-based dealers that usually provide flawless service. Just a thought, my friend.

I had deal with dezon of dealers in the US, some in Germany and UK, without much problems ( except DK and BT) I do not like to attack people, unless their serivce are no good. I do not mean to demage the image of 1SKS, I just want they became more better ( good is not enough!)
 
The problem is simple. We can not ship what has not even been made yet. The Black blade versions of the CQD are not even available. Like Spark said we would love to send out your knife but NO ONE has one. We are at the top of the food chain so we will be amongst the first to get them and you will be likewise.

Just be patient as you are amongst about 100 others wanting the same knife. The only way we could get better at sending out CQD's was if we had repllcators as in Star Trek

glockman....you very well may be right....i have heard that term all over the country on my travels but since i have heard it mostly in the south where i now live and grew up i thought it must have originated here in the south....we have many colloquialisms unique to the south and i thought this might have been one of them....anyway, my fund of knowlegde is now more better thanks to you...feverdoc

I would love to know what we did last Christmas since we were not even in business till this March?

Knives R Us is owned by Danny Ridenhour and is 500 feet away from my warehouse on Sunbeam road in Jax. He is a personal friend of mine and we both started at the local flea market here about 10 years ago.

We are growing and in doing so we have to get past obsticles and we strive for excellent service. Getting the two to happen at the same time is tough
