I believe sending the knife makers that have decided to donate their works should receive a couple pictures of the presentation; its the least that we can do compared to your generosity that you have displayed through your hard work and time spent. Id ask you to keep the photos as a personal item that you can hang in your shop or home. We as Soldiers are not permitted to back or promote civilian products while in uniform. When photos are published in magazines, brochures, web pages that have a Soldier in uniform, it looks like the US Army, or our unit is backing X as a knife maker. If it remains generic, Im sure there would not be a problem
the problem arises when people use units, Soldiers names, etc. I think a way to fix this is to also send you a picture of the Soldier in civilian clothes
out of this environment. Hopefully everyone understands
