  • Today marks the 24th anniversary of 9/11. I pray that this nation does not forget the loss of lives from this horrible event. Yesterday conservative commentator Charlie Kirk was murdered, and I worry about what is to come. Please love one another and your family in these trying times - Spark

1st damascus from the new forge room!

The nickle is very soft but, you only use a very small amount. In a billet that started out a little over 1 1/4" thick I only use two pieces of .006 nickle. It's the same as when you use mild steel for contrast. You only use a small amount so as not to weaken the blade itself. Hope that helps, if anyone else can expound upon it better, please feel free.

Beauty! Damascus looks slick, handle looks comfy! Tulip wood very cool, sheath excellent! Nice package all around!
