I bought the bushcraft orange. It has a 90° spine which is good for sparks. A bright orange handle and sheath so is harder to lose. The Sandvick stainless is tough and easy to sharpen.

Get a companion heavy duty already.
But do get a hold of the ordinary stainless steel companion as well
So that you quit thinking about having lock jaws on the account of a rusting edge
OP, I like the companion the best. I have the carbon, stainless, and the HD version. Either the stainless or the carbon are great. I don't see a point to the 1/8" thick scandis so I don't use the HD. 3/32" thick is plenty strong and it cuts better.
