1st morel of the year

My Dad and I found 143 yesterday in our "honey hole"...They are being fried as I type this.:D I think this is "prime time" here in SE Kentucky...
 
Looks like we're at least 3 weeks away from shroomin here in central Iowegia (it's snowing right now... but the ground temp was just over 40 degrees a couple days ago. If we get some warm, sunny days and gentle Spring showers we'll be haulin' them in here 'ere too long.
 
I hope we get a good crop too

Last year in the Ozarks we got like 7 feet of rain, most of it in the spring. We did not have very many morels, I didn't know you could get to much rain for mushrooms. Pat
 
Picked up some more today while fishing. Didnt have a sack. They are not up good yet. Just a few more days.
