Hey I have a Kershaw Tyrade and first production run Spec Bump, I want to trade both of them for a Spyderco Titanium Military. Might consider other high end production knives. Catches though
The Tyrade is in like new condition with no box, but it has a pivot issue. It keeps developing slight side to side play, but locks up fine. The pivot became loose and I put loktite on it and let it sit overnight but it became loose again. I tried that again and it also became loose. I then tried teflon tape, which also didnt work. You might need a new pivot from Kershaw.
The first production run Spec Bump I've used and sharpened, the blade is scratched, although it locks up perfectly with no play. I had Kershaw black oxide the liners, they were beadblasted. No box for this one either.
Hey just an update, I talked to Kershaw today and they told me if I sent in the Tyrade for repair and they could not fix it they would give me a $350.00 credit towards another Kershaw knife, or I could just request the credit regardless. If you trade for these knives then the credit could be yours if you aren't happy with the pivot like me.
I am doing this because I have all the Kershaw knives I want, and really want a Spyderco Titanium Military. Or maybe other high end productions.
Will ship them insured priority mail, with tracking and delivery confirmation, CONUS. Contact me for international shipping
